The Professional Community Intervention Training Institute (PCITI) provides certification in conflict resolution/mediation and de-escalation strategies through a proactive, culturally sensitive, scenario-based training for individuals seeking to serve as community violence interventionists. To achieve this goal, the PCITI curriculum equips community violence interventionists and outreach workers with standard operating procedures and protocols that allow them to successfully negotiate, conflicts to peaceful resolves and engage other public safety professionals in the field.
